ERIE COUNTY BICENTENNIAL PASSPORT PROGRAM – runs from May 2021 to April 2022.  See EC200 logo below. There is much work involved with getting the Museum Complex readied as well as staffed during visiting hours for the Elma Museum Complex, which are the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month from 1:00-pm to 3:00-pm.


Passports will be given out at local libraries. Anyone willing to volunteer to staff the Museum Complex during visiting hours please contact the Museum (you don't need to be an expert on Elma history). We expect to have more information by April 16.  Please check back later for further details. 


EC200 EVENT "EVERYTHING WATER" planned for August (exact date TBD). A Native American program is planned. Our Water-Powered Sawmill will be open, assuming all repairs are completed. Sandwiches will be served. State and County mandates in August may affect this event. Please check back later for updates. 



● Sunday, May 16, starting at approximately 11:30-am CHICKEN BARBEQUE DINNER BY TSG held in the parking lot of Elma Village Green Park (near Elma Senior Center). Drive-through only. No pre-orders. BBQ Dinners will be sold until all 200 have been sold. Cost is $12.00 for the dinner, which includes: half chicken, two side dishes, and dinner roll & butter. TSG is Elma's own Two Smoking Guys located at 6272 Seneca Street in Spring Brook (www.TSGBBQ.com).


● Saturday, June 19, at (time TBD) ELMA THEMED SCAVENGER HUNT BY CAR AND FLAG RETIREMENT CEREMONY.  SCAVENGER HUNT cost is $5 per car. Hot dogs and soft drinks will be served afterward. FLAG RETIREMENT CEREMONY will be held at the Barn Museum starting at 11:00-am. Ceremony is being held in conjunction with Elma VFW Post #5861 and the Daughters of the American Revolution, East Aurora Chapter. Anyone who has worn out American flags requiring dignified retirement can place them into the drop-off box on the porch of Hurd House by June 18. The Ceremony is open to the public at no charge. NOTE: Ceremony attendees are asked to observe state and county mandates for outdoor gatherings (e.g., social distancing and masks).


● July 17 or 18 CONCERT AT ELMA VILLAGE PARK PAVILION with musical group(s) to be announced. Date, time, and cost are TBD. The Pink Cow Ice Cream Truck will be on-site (www.PinkCowIceCream.com). Event depends on state and county mandates in place at that time. Please check back later for details.


● October (date and time TBD): ANNUAL ELMA HISTORICAL SOCIETY DINNER AND BASKET RAFFLE FUNDRAISER. May be held in Elma or Jamison Road Fire Hall. Event depends on state and county mandates in place at that time. Please check back later for details.

Monthly membership meetings (2nd Monday of the month at 7:00-pm at the Elma Senior Center) are still postponed until further notice because the Elma Senior Center remains closed for group meetings.
